The 'Stormerick Golden Retrievers' are in partnership within our family. This consists of: John & Janet Merrick plus son Andrew, who live in Somerset, and daughter Julie who lives in Devon.

We are KENNEL CLUB ACCREDITED BREEDERS.

This means that we adhere to the KC rules and regulations regarding the welfare standards of our dogs and ensure that we have our dogs & bitches health screened... including hip scoring and eye testing.

We are also members of different Golden Retriever Breed Clubs and as such adhere to their 'Codes of Ethics' regarding the health and welfare of our dogs and bitches.

Up until 2007 the girls and boys lived separately between the two different homes but now Bas (Stormerick Don Sebastian) lives with all the girls in Somerset...lucky lad!

Andrew offers his services as a dog-sitter on occasion and has taken one of the girls: Stormerick Sante Katarina otherwise known as Emma; under his wing.

There are currently 8 girls & 1 boy in Somerset and 4 boys in Devon making a mad total of 13 dogs! These range in age from Katie who is 14 to Bas who is the youngest at present. Most weekends and during the holidays, they all get together to play and enjoy each other's company.
